ASSOCIATE member

Associate council member privileges vary when compared to Regular membership privileges. As an Associate member, you will receive all privileges of membership with the exception of holding elected office on the council as well as voting. In addition, an Associate member may not recommend new members.
 
Associate council members are appointed by the 127th Wing Commander or their designee for persons:

• Serving in elected or appointed positions in government
• Service clubs
• Veteran organizations
• Professional organizations
• Employed by agencies or businesses engaged in service to the general public (e.g.):
• Education
• Public utilities
• News media
• Hospital administration
• Transportation safety

Associate members should attend at least six (6) meetings throughout the year or request an excused absence if they are unable to attend. Associate members will be automatically removed from membership in July following the expiration of their term of public office, retirement, or vacating the office and or employment upon which their membership was predicated. Membership dues are paid annually and are $150 for Associate members.
