Jonathan Vandenbossche is the Selfridge Base Community Council Treasurer. He has been an active Council member for more than 10 years and previously served on the membership committee.
Jonathan is the Vice President and Partner of the Davis-Vandenbossche and Baxter Insurance Agencies, which is an independent insurance agency with locations in New Baltimore, Algonac, and Marine City. His agency represents several carriers and provides personal, commercial, and life insurance. The agency is committed to the communities they call home, supporting local organizations through membership, sponsorship, and volunteering.
Jonathan also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce where he sits on multiple committees that support business, government, and residents of Northern Macomb and Southern St. Clair Counties. He volunteers as a tee ball coach and has previously served on Insurance Industry Boards including the Young Agents Council of the Michigan Association of Independent Agents.
Jonathan enjoys being a member of the council and feels the council’s mission to serve the needs of our local military men and women is important to him and his family. Jonathan has been married to his wife Laura for 13 years. Together they have two children, Claire and Graeme, who love to watch the Selfridge jets fly over their house.
The Selfridge Base Community Council is comprised of Macomb County's select business and municipal leaders, all working together to benefit and support the brave men and women as well as their families, who serve this great country day in and day out. The Council provides financial assistance for scholarships, educational programs for the Base's servicemen and families. The Council is also the largest voice for economic decisions that affect the Base and their families, working with elected officials to continue to operate the base to defend the nation and preserve the estimated $850 million economic impact on the local economy.

Drema Isaac is the Selfridge Base Community Council President and serves on the base Open House and Airshow Committee. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Morehead State University. She has extensive education in the Credit Union industry and is a graduate of Leadership Macomb XVII.
Drema has been the President/CEO of FreeStar Financial Credit Union since 2002. FreeStar Financial is a full-service financial institution founded in 1957 by members of the military at Selfridge. The credit union has a field of membership covering the entire state of Michigan, with six branches in Macomb County. FreeStar Financial is proud to continue serving military members and provides several services to assist veterans and active members.
Drema began her career in the Credit Union industry at Northland Area Federal Credit Union in 1994. While there, she served in many key executive roles, such as the Vice President of Finance and the Vice President of Lending. She currently serves as an Executive Committee member of the Metro East Chapter of Credit Unions and is a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Michigan Credit Union League. She is also a Board of Director member for the Michigan Credit Union League and is a member of the AeroSpace and Defense Committee for the Macomb Chamber of Commerce.
Drema supports other local and national organizations through volunteering and charitable contributions. She has been a member of the Metro East Chapter of Credit Unions since 2002 and is serving on their Executive Board as Chairperson since 2001. She is an alternate Board of Director member for the Michigan Credit Union League since 2012 and has been an MCUL and Governmental Affairs Committee member since 2002.
Drema is passionate about “serving those who serve us.” Her work supports helping military men and women develop to their highest potential, empowering members with financial freedom, and strengthening communities.

Kimberly Atwood is the Selfridge Base Community Council Secretary. She also serves numerous other programs supported by the Council to include the annual golf outing, the Selfridge Open House/Air Show.
Kim is a Social Work Technician with Creative Empowerment Opportunities, a non- Profit in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties that provides care and support to those with intellectual disabilities and those in recovery from mental illness.
She volunteers as the Senior Vice President of the Auxiliary at the Lempke-Blackwell VFW 7573 in New Baltimore. Additionally, she has volunteered for the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life for 15 years, serving as the event lead for the last three years.
Kim grew up and raised her children in the communities surrounding Selfridge Air National Guard Base. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 15 years who is a proud Army Veteran. Together they have three children, Ryane, Trevor, and Zachary.
